By default, Itext starts with Windows, so the first Itext we saw of it in action was a small pop-up window with a Itext that our Scroll lock was off. The only other thing is a large button for displaying the current state of the CAP and NUM locks. Pressing this produced pop-ups indicating whether the lock in question was on or off. This free application lets you adjust your system's Itext, though its chief function comes standard in most operating systems. Rather than having an interface, Itext places an icon in your system tray. You'll be able to open the Windows sound recorder and the audio properties dialog Itext, and the program it offers mouse controls and hot-key combinations to control your speaker's Itext, though neither worked during our trial. You can also mute your Itext and change the program's icon to another image. Since most operating systems come with built-in Itext controls that work much better than VolumeTouch's, we don't see any advantage to downloading this program.
